One memory that stuck out to me from Audrey & Patrick’s wedding was riding in the trolley through the city, right after their ceremony at St Benedict Church. We were on our way to Navy Pier and it was cold, and rainy, and windyyyy. Under normal circumstances people would be glum, but Audrey & Patrick’s wedding party were the most positive and easy-going bunch. We all broke out in a musical on the trolley, belting out Ironic by Alanis Morrissette and making the best out of a situation completely out of our control.
Rain on your wedding day. They say it’s good luck, and it rang true on this day. We quickly snapped photos of the wedding party and then ran back to the trolley, adrenaline high from being out in a cold Chicago autumn day.
That evening we all ate, drank and danced throughout the night at Artifact Events and celebrated the sweet couple that met by random at a laundromat in Lincoln Park and fell in love.
